The problem is more than paperwork

When each part of the plan lives somewhere else, it is hard to know what is current

A change to a product, piece of equipment or production step can mean updating several Word files, Excel sheets and paper forms. Between shifts and busy periods, the link between the HACCP plan and the actual operation gets lost.

What many teams work with today

  • Process flows and hazard analyses are kept in separate documents
  • Temperature checks and corrective actions end up on forms that are hard to retrieve
  • Before an inspection, records have to be collected, checked and completed from several places

Vereat keeps the chain connected

  • A process change stays linked to its hazards, controls and monitoring tasks
  • The team records checks and deviations where the work happens
  • Managers can see what is complete, what is missing and which records need review

From the plan to the floor

One workflow connects HACCP planning with day-to-day execution

Each stage uses the information already defined before it, so the same process does not need to be rebuilt in every document and form.

  1. 01

Define the operation and production process

Add products, ingredients, equipment and production steps, then build a process flow that reflects how the operation actually works.

Replaces: Manually drawing flows and updating the same information twice

  2. 02

    Analyse hazards and define controls

Document hazards, control measures, critical limits and corrective actions for each relevant process step.

Replaces: Hazard tables disconnected from the production process

  3. 03

Turn the plan into monitoring tasks

Required checks reach the floor team on mobile, with the instructions and limits defined in the plan.

Replaces: Paper forms and different instructions on each shift

  4. 04

Review records and maintain the plan

Follow completions and deviations, retrieve records and update the plan when the operation changes.

Replaces: A last-minute document hunt before an inspection

The system in operation

Information defined in the plan follows the work all the way to the floor

A core-temperature check is not a standalone form. It is connected to the thermal-processing step, critical limit and corrective action defined in the plan.

  1. 1

The check appears when it is due

The team sees the task, product and required measurement on mobile.

  2. 2

A deviation requires a corrective action

An out-of-limit value cannot be closed without recording what was done and what was checked again.

  3. 3

The record is ready for review

The measurement, time, operator and corrective action stay together for the manager to review.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before requesting access
